On April 2, the government supported an initiative developed by the State Property Fund of Ukraine that amends the existing resolutions No. 483 and No. 630, streamlining the process of preparing the necessary documents for leasing state property by organizations providing social services, including organizations supporting internally displaced persons.

Social service organizations now have the opportunity to lease property from the state without the need to go through an auction to carry out activities that are extremely important in the current environment, including meeting the needs of internally displaced persons.

These changes will help attract more social service providers from the non-state sector of the economy.

The SPFU team is maximizing opportunities to create support platforms for citizens in need, including internally displaced persons. Thanks to the resolution, renting real estate from the state for social service providers will become easier and faster - this was the original purpose of the document

- emphasized the Head of the SPFU Vitaly Koval.

Now, in order to lease state or municipal property without an auction, only a minimum set of documents is required: an application and a copy of a document confirming the applicant's status as a social service provider.

In addition, a single preferential rental rate has been established for all social service providers, which is 1% per year of the market value of the leased property. As a reminder, the Ministry of Social Policy reported that it has developed a mechanism for paying rental subsidies for IDPs.

The amount of the subsidy will be adjusted depending on the average cost of renting an apartment in the region, household income, and family size.
