Details
According to him, it is important that funds from international donors to support the Ukrainian economy arrive in a timely manner. At the same time, the IMF acknowledged that at the end of the year, the Ukrainian authorities took steps to ensure that they had reserves of funds in case of a delay in international assistance.
We also emphasize that the allocations must come on time. Of course, we expect donor support to arrive in the first quarter
The IMF has warned that a lack of external aid could prompt the NBU to issue money to cover the budget deficit, which carries the risk of accelerating inflation or forcing the government to cut spending.
Delayed donor support pushes the government to suboptimal economic policies and puts all achievements at risk
Addendum
