The Ministry of Culture has responded to the European Commission's comments on the United News telethon. The Ministry plans to stop supporting the marathon after the end of martial law.

The Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications has released a reaction to the European Commission's conclusion on the progress of EU candidate states, which criticized the United News telethon. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Culture, UNN reports.

Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochytskyi said in a statement that the agency had "started the path of change" to "ensure access to public information for every citizen.

The European Commission's recommendations on the United News marathon have also been taken into account. The state plans to stop supporting the marathon after martial law is lifted, focusing on the sustainable development of media infrastructure,
