The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has called on the Sejm and Senate of Poland to continue cooperation amid concerns that border issues could worsen socio-economic challenges in Ukraine.

The resolution states that blocking the movement of goods across the border will inevitably lead to a deterioration of the already difficult socio-economic situation in Ukraine, complicating the possibility of restoring Ukraine's economy.
"In such circumstances, it is necessary to find ways out of the situation on the Ukrainian-Polish border without delay. We hope that the approval of the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the newly elected Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland will contribute to the fact that the new convocation of the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland elected in the recent elections will be no less open to joint productive cooperation based on mutual trust and respect for the benefit of the Polish and Ukrainian peoples," the resolution reads.
Addendum
On November 21, President Andrzej Duda saidthat Poland will stand firmly by Ukraine's side and support it in its fight against Russia. Poland will also help Kyiv on its way to the EU and NATO.
Polish authorities approved the adoption of the agreement on liberalization of transportation between Ukraine and the EU during a vote in the EU Council. Journalists of the Polish radio RMF FM investigated the chronology of the vote and found no protests or objections from Polish representatives in the EU.
