The Supreme Court will consider PrivatBank's appeal to recover UAH 700 million from the state-owned bank

On April 17, the Supreme Court will consider PrivatBank's cassation appeal in a case in which Olena Boholyubova, the ex-wife of the bank's former co-owner, has been trying to recover more than UAH 700 million from the state-owned bank since 2017.

Tomorrow, on April 17, the Supreme Court  will consider PrivatBank's cassation appeal in the case filed by Olena Boholyubova, the ex-wife of the bank's former co-owner. The ex-wife of Gennadiy Boholyubov wants to sue PrivatBank for more than 700 million hryvnias.  This is stated in a statement by the bank's press service, UNN reports. 

On April 17, the Supreme Court will consider PrivatBank's cassation appeal in case No. 201/473/17 filed by Olena Boholyubova, ex-wife of the bank's former co-owner Gennadiy Boholyubov. Since 2017, the plaintiff has been trying to recover more than UAH 700 million from the state-owned bank, which was raised in the bank's capital during the bail-in procedure

It is reported that the courts of previous instances partially satisfied Boholyubova's claims  and ordered to recover more than UAH 700 million from the state-owned PrivatBank. In August 2022, the bank filed a cassation appeal with the Supreme Court, the next hearing of which is scheduled for April 17, 2024.

Ihor Kolomoisky was served with several suspicions. One of them is for fraud and legalization of the proceeds of crime. The businessman also received suspicion under three articles in the case of misappropriation of UAH 5.8 billion between 2013 and 2014.
