The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a draft law amending the Customs Code to implement the provisions of the EU Customs Code. The European integration bill was voted in favor by 293 deputies.

Today, on August 22, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a whole the draft law on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the implementation of certain provisions of the Customs Code of the European Union. This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, UNN reports.

"The Rada adopted as a whole the draft law on amendments to the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding the implementation of certain provisions of the Customs Code of the European Union," Honcharenko wrote.

During the vote, 293 MPs voted in favor.

Honcharenko noted that this is a European integration bill.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine is actively working on harmonizing Ukrainian legislation with EU standards. There are already results in the areas of financial services, in particular in the fight against money laundering, and entrepreneurship, with a special focus on accounting and financial reporting.
