The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control has imposed sanctions on 10 companies and four people for participating in the production of Iranian drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to a statement by the US Treasury Department.

The list of restrictions includes people and organizations from Iran, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia that support the production of Iranian drones.
The network, headed by Hossein Khatefi Ardakani from Iran, facilitated the purchase of hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of foreign-origin components for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and its UAV program. His associates were also added to the sanctions list.
The agency emphasizes that Ardakani coordinates foreign defense procurement through shell companies in Malaysia, Hong Kong and other countries.
