President Volodymyr Zelenskyy calls on Western allies, including the the United States to provide Ukraine with favorable loans and contracts for weapons production. He said this in an exclusive interview on Thursday with the Associated Press in Kharkiv region, UNN reports.

It is noted that the President of of Ukraine focused on increasing domestic arms production. A significant part of Ukraine's budget is allocated for this purpose, but the current production is far from enough to turn the tide of the war.
That is why Zelenskyy is appealing to Western allies, in particular the United States, to provide favorable loans and contracts for the production of weapons.
"This is the way out," Zelenskiy said, adding that nothing scares Russia as much as a militarily self-sufficient Ukraine.
During a recent meeting with US President Joe Biden, members of Congress and other high-ranking officials, Zelenskyy asked them to provide Ukraine with cheap with a request to provide Ukraine with cheap loans and licenses to produce American weapons.
