Three high-ranking Russian officials were notified of suspicion for assisting in the transportation of Russian military personnel and equipment to the frontline by sea.

Three high-ranking officials of the Russian Federation, who ensured the transportation of Russian military and equipment to the frontline by sea, have been served with a notice of suspicion. UNN reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

 Under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Deputy Minister of Transport, the Head of the Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport and the Head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Administration of the Sea Ports of the Azov Sea" were served a notice of suspicion of aiding and abetting in the conduct of aggressive war committed by a group of persons (Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

According to the investigation, in the fall of 2022, the suspects organized and provided conditions for the transportation by sea of personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and other armed formations of Russia, military equipment, and munitions to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Thus, as indicated, they assisted the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation in waging an aggressive war against Ukraine.
