In November, American Express Travel published a list of the 10 most popular vacation destinations for 2024, based on travel bookings on members' cards around the world and recommendations from a team of 6,000 travel consultants, UNN reports citing CNBC.

According to the report, popular destinations are of particular interest to Generation Z and millennial travelers. Booking data shows that in Japan, the number of bookings increased by more than 1300% from 2019 to 2023.
During the same period, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico saw an increase of more than 400% and Australia saw an increase of almost 800% among Generation Z and millennials.
