Track and field athlete Maguchikh and swimmer Zheltiakov are recognized as the best athletes of the year - NOC

Yaroslava Maguchikh and Oleksandr Zheltiakov were recognized as the best athletes of 2023. This was reported by at the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. Committee of Ukraine, reports UNN.

Their performances were watched by hundreds thousands of fans watched their performances. The whole country rejoiced in their victories. Their names are written in golden letters in the the modern history of Ukrainian sports in golden letters.

According to the decision of the Expert Committee of the NOC of Ukraine to determine the best athletes and coaches of the month based on the results of the performances of Ukrainian athletes at leading international competitions in the Olympic sports program by the results of 2023:

"Yaroslava Maguchikh, the world champion and third place Athlete of the Year 2023" was Yaroslava Maguchikh, world champion and III European Athletics Games (high jump);

"The best Coach of the Year 2023" - Tatiana Stepanova, personal trainer of Yaroslava Maguchikh;

"Alexander Zheltiakov, a two-time young athlete of 2023" was recognized Alexander Zheltiakov -  two-time world and European world and European champion in junior swimming, holder of the Olympic Olympic standard (100 and 200 m backstroke);

"The best Coach of the Year 2023" was Oleksandr Kulyk, personal trainer of of Oleksandr Zheltiakov.

In 2023, Yaroslava Maguchikh became the "Best Athlete of August 2023". Her coach was also recognized for the success of her of her pupils.

Oleksandr During 2023, Zheltiakov and his coach Oleksandr Kulyk twice received awards of the NOC of Ukraine as the best young athlete of the month and the best coach Young Athlete of the Month (in July and September).

The Athletics Federation of Ukraine and the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will also receive awards for training the best athlete of 2023, Yaroslava Maguchikh
