The SBU neutralized an FSB agent group in Dnipropetrovs'k region that was collecting data on drone production and military infrastructure. Six local residents were recruited via Telegram and face life imprisonment.

Law enforcement officers neutralized an FSB agent group  operating in Dnipropetrovs'k region. The Russian agents were trying to identify  enterprises that produce drones for the Defense Forces for further enemy attacks. UNN reports this with reference to the SBU.

The perpetrators were preparing coordinates for Russian air strikes on military and critical infrastructure in the region. Among the enemy's priority targets were enterprises that produce unmanned aerial vehicles for the Defense Forces

- said the SBU.

The invaders were also reportedly interested in the locations of repair bases for Ukrainian military equipment and key highways used to transport Ukrainian weapons and ammunition to the front line.

To adjust the strikes, the FSB remotely recruited six local residents through the Telegram channel. For the sake of secrecy, the agents operated separately from each other in different localities of the region, but "reported" to a single FSB supervisor.

On his instructions, the defendants monitored the directions of movement of the columns and echelons of the Armed Forces, as well as paid attention to the accumulation of military equipment that had arrived from the front for maintenance.

"In order to identify the locations of UAV production facilities, the agents used personal connections among local residents, from whom they secretly asked for the necessary information," the SBU said.

SBU counterintelligence officers documented all members of the FSB agent group and detained them.

During the searches, 16 mobile phones, laptops and tablets with evidence of communication with the Russian special service were found.

SBU investigators served them with a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

They are currently in custody without the right to be released on bail. The traitors face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Also, the resident (head) of the FSB agent group, who is in the territory of Russia, was identified.
