Yesterday in Sumy region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attempts by three Russian subversive and reconnaissance groups to penetrate deep into the territory of Ukraine.

Yesterday, in Sumy region, border guards together with soldiers of other components of the Defense Forces stopped the attempts of three enemy subversive reconnaissance groups to get deep into Ukraine. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

According to the State Border Guard Service, an attempt by three enemy subversive reconnaissance groups to get deeper into Ukraine was stopped in Sumy region yesterday.

In one case, border guards performing a combat mission at one of the state border areas detected several members of an enemy subversive group moving from the territory of the aggressor country. The saboteurs immediately opened deadly fire, and a firefight ensued. In the other two cases, border guards together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine also detected the enemy subversive group in advance and opened fire to kill the saboteurs,

The SBGS noted that the reserves of the State Border Guard Service, NGU and Armed Forces of Ukraine, artillery and mortar units were deployed to reinforce the enemy's attack.

In all three cases, the coordinated actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces thwarted the enemy's plans, forcing the enemy to retreat. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are doing everything necessary to protect Ukrainian territory from the Russian aggressor,
