Ukrainian troops are steadfastly holding the line in the Avdiivka sector and continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol sector. This was reported on Saturday by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, UNN reports.

According to the commander, in the Tavriya sector, total enemy losses reached 456 people over the past day. 1 occupant surrendered.
19 units of military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 1 tank, 3 armored personnel carriers, 2 artillery systems, 12 UAVs, 1 unit of special equipment. Another 16 units of enemy military equipment were damaged, Tarnavsky said.
At the same time, according to Tarnavsky, the enemy conducted 8 air strikes, 51 combat engagements and 974 artillery shellings in the Tauride sector.
