Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that Russia's actions in the Black Sea, including attacks on merchant ships, pose a threat to global security. He called for further coalition support, including training for F-16 pilots.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, speaking at a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of Southeast Europe in Ankara, said that Russia's terrorist actions in the Black Sea pose a threat to the entire free world. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, according to UNN.

Russia attacks merchant ships flying the flags of third countries and will continue to do so as long as it has the opportunity. No agreements with the Russians work. They do only what they want: terror, hunger, instability... Only after the defeat in Ukraine, the Russian Federation will never be able to blackmail or threaten anyone

- said Rustem Umerov.

According to Umerov, asymmetric decisions inflict defeats on the Russian Black Sea Fleet and deprive it of the ability to blackmail the free world. In view of this, the defense minister called on the partners to continue joint coordinated actions to continue the work of the tank training coalitions, as well as the aviation coalition for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s, the IT coalition and the mine action coalition.
