The Verkhovna Rada has decided to invite the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych and Commander of the Joint Forces Yuriy Sodol to speak before the start of consideration of the law on mobilization. At the same time, the Rada failed to vote to invite Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov to the parliamentary session before considering the draft law on mobilization. The decision was supported by 138 MPs.
