Zelenskyy says Ukraine is preparing its own weapons against russian KABs

Ukraine is developing its own domestic weapons against russian guided aerial bombs (UABs) in addition to using air defense systems and expects F-16 fighter jets to improve the situation, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Ukraine needs a combined defense against russian CABs, so Kyiv is already developing its own weapons against guided aerial bombs. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a telethon, UNN reports.

According to the head of state, so far, only air defense systems have been used by the defense forces against russian aircraft carrying the KABs. Their effective use has forced the enemy to launch bombs from a greater distance.
At the distance at which we were shooting down their carriers, they realized that they didn't need to go so deep into us. So they have now increased the distance. And we have to increase our long-range air defense systems. Let me emphasize that russia is very afraid of this
The President emphasized that the situation should be significantly improved by the F-16s that our Air Force will soon receive. But their number will be insufficient to fully protect against the CABs, so Ukraine is also developing its own weapons to counter russian aviation.
