New satellite images of Sevastopol Bay have emerged showing Russian defense installations. However, their condition remains uncertain after the recent storm. The photos were posted by an investigator with the nickname MT Anderson in the social network X, UNN reports.

It is still cloudy, so only the entrance to the harbor and the Frigate pier are visible. The dolphinarium is probably gone, and the defenses are there, but are they still functioning? Did Admiral Makarov survive the storm, or did he arrive shortly after it

- wrote the analyst.

Details

The images taken by the Planet satellite showed the area with Sevastopol Bay, showing enemy ships at the berths and the absence of fighting dolphins in the pens. It also shows defensive structures built by the Russians to protect the bay from possible attacks by the Ukrainian army. However, after the recent storm, there is a possibility that they were damaged.

To recap,

After the storm, a training mine was thrown on the coast near the city of Sevastopol in occupied Crimea. The storm also led to large-scale flooding, evacuations, and disruptions in public services.
