The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy demands to stop any construction work on Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv near the local architectural monument "Maria Stanislavska's House of Profit". This was reported by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, UNN reports.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy appealed to the police to comply with the order of the Kyiv City State Administration to stop any construction work on the land at 95/42 Volodymyrska Street in Kyiv. The order also applies to the protection zone of the local architectural monument "Maria Stanislavska's Profitable House". Construction work in the historic site was carried out in violation of the law. The builders did not have a written permit from the Department of Cultural Heritage Protection of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration), as well as the approved scientific and design documentation

"Maria Stanislavska's Apartment House" is listed in the Register of Immovable Monuments as an architectural monument of local significance.
This means that the monument, its territory, and the protection zone are under state protection. Any actions, including construction work, must take into account the requirements for the preservation of such a monument, as defined by the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Cultural Heritage."
Earlier, the developers ignored the KCSA's ban on stopping construction. As a result of construction works in the immediate vicinity of the architectural monument of local importance, the building on Volodymyrska Street was damaged.
