Brovary community is actively working to increase its energy independence. In particular, 150 kW solar panels were put into operation at one of the critical infrastructure facilities of Brovaryteplovodoenergia. Installation of more powerful equipment continues at another facility. This was reported by the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, UNN reports.
"We continue to move confidently towards ensuring the energy independence of our community. Under the program of ESCO contracts , solar panels with a total capacity of 150 kW have been launched today at one of the facilities of the critical infrastructure of Brovaryteplovodoenergia," Ihor Sapozhko said .
According to him, this equipment will be serviced by the utility company itself and will provide it with electricity not only during possible disconnection from the stationary power supply, but also if there is a storage capacity at all times.
The mayor of Brovary also said that work is currently underway to install similar equipment, but with a higher capacity, at another of Teplomerezha's facilities.

In the Brovary community of Kyiv Oblast, some boiler houses that provide heat to important social facilities run on alternative fuels. In addition, according to Ihor Sapozhko, thanks to cooperation with international partners, solar panels were installed on the buildings of the Brovary multidisciplinary and children's hospitals.
