The Security Service of Ukraine has detained a family of traitors who were preparing missile strikes on Ukraine and burying the remains of dead racists near Kyiv on the orders of the Russian Federation, the SBU said on Monday, UNN reports.

Details

According to the report, the SBU exposed two FSB agents operating in Kyiv region: a father and son recruited by the SBU were preparing missile strikes against the capital region.

"In particular, they leaked the geolocations of the Defense Forces, including the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The attackers also passed to the FSB the coordinates of industrial workshops where Ukrainian drones were manufactured. At the direction of the defendants, the invaders planned to carry out targeted missile strikes on Ukrainian targets," the SBU said.

However, the SBU thwarted the hostile intentions. "As a result of a special operation in Kyiv region, both agents were exposed, their criminal actions were documented and detained. Simultaneously, measures were taken to protect the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the production facilities of the defense industry of Ukraine," the SBU said.

Among other things, as noted, these FSB agents were performing a specific task of the Russian special service - searching for the remains of Nazis who died during the battles for Kyiv.

"The defendants collected fragments of the occupiers' bodies in containers and then took them to the forest plantations of the capital region and buried them. After that, they sent the FSB a corresponding "photo report" with a reference to the area and the coordinates of the place of burial of enemy remains," the special service said.

The investigation revealed that the detainees had previously served in law enforcement agencies. After their release, they were remotely recruited by an FSB officer who "noticed" the traitors after their anti-Ukrainian comments on YouTube.

"At the initial stages of cooperation with the occupiers, the son of the defendant even conducted online training in tactical medicine for the militants of the Russian group Akhmat," the SBU said.

For the completed tasks, the traitors reportedly received monetary "rewards" from the captors on their own bank cards.

Currently, both defendants have been served a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face life imprisonment.
