According to media reports, 272 people have already died as a result of the floods that hit Spain. King Felipe VI of Spain and his wife Letizia intended to visit the flood area in Valencia to personally assess the situation. The king and queen arrived in Paiport along with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and regional president Carlos Mason.

However, the royal couple was not greeted with greetings, but with mud, stones, bottles and sticks. They began to insult them, accusing them of not helping enough. The crowd shouted "Murderers" and "Get out!".

The queen was insulted: "You have everything, and people are dying here!", "You don't have water problems! We have nothing!", ‘The president is a dog!’.

The guards tried to interrupt the visit and take the king to a safe place, but to no avail. The crowd did not allow the royal couple to leave. Police used mounted officers to try to bring the situation under control.
