A fire broke out in an apartment building in Khmelnytsky region during a night attack by Russian troops due to the fall of debris from an enemy drone, rescuers eliminated the consequences of the Russian attack, the regional State Emergency Service reported on Facebook on Friday, showing photos from the scene, UNN reports.

"Last night, while repelling an enemy air attack, our air defense forces shot down two Shahed UAVs. The attack damaged the roof and windows in the apartments of a two-story residential building. The fire has been extinguished. No one was injured or killed," the head of the Khmelnytsky RMA, Serhiy Tyurin, said in the morning on Telegram.
"Today, during a nighttime enemy attack, a fire broke out in an apartment building as a result of the fall of debris from an enemy UAV in one of the cities of the region. Fortunately, none of the residents were injured," the SES noted.
As indicated, the rescuers eliminated the fire and provided the necessary assistance to the people.
