The head of the Donetsk RMA reported about 350,000 residents who remain in the region despite the difficult humanitarian situation. Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched 2,880 attacks in the region, wounding two civilians.
About 350,000 people still remain in the Donetsk region , the head of the Donetsk RMA Vadym Filashkin said on Telegram on Monday, UNN reports.

"The humanitarian situation in the region is still very difficult. About 350 thousand people still remain in the region. That is why we must continue to provide them with all the necessary and possible support, while continuing to evacuate the most dangerous settlements," Filashkin wrote, noting that he had raised the issue at a meeting with representatives of the US Congress and the UNHCR.
As Filashkin noted earlier, "before the full-scale invasion began, there were one million 900 (thousand) people in the region". At the same time, according to Suspilne Donbass, at the beginning of the invasion, 1 million 670 thousand people lived in Donetsk .
According to the regional police department, 314,269 people have been evacuated with the help of the police since the start of the mandatory evacuation, including 36,572 children and 8,510 people with disabilities.
According to the Donetsk RMA, since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, 2857 civilians have been killed and 6375 wounded in Donetsk region.
According to the regional police, two residents of Donetsk region were wounded by Russian shelling over the past day. During the day, the police recorded 2,880 attacks on the front line and residential areas. Five settlements were under fire: the towns of Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Shevchenko village, and Mykolaivka village. Eight civilian objects were damaged, including five residential buildings:
- Russians attacked Myrnohrad with artillery, wounding a civilian.
- A man was injured and an apartment building was damaged in Kurakhove due to artillery shelling.
- Four private houses and two cars were destroyed in Mykolaivka.
- Shevchenko was attacked by the enemy with a drone - a civilian car was damaged.
