According to the expert, just a few minutes a day can help people cope with emotional overload that prevents them from living a full life.
Buquet noted that modern life, full of stress and feelings of threat, can lead to emotional clamps that destroy relationships and deplete physical and mental resources. She shared three simple practices that can be easily implemented in everyday life:
1. Breath control: Spending just a few minutes taking calm, deep breaths can significantly reduce emotional stress. Paying attention to each inhale and exhale helps to calm the mind.
2. Rocking: gently rocking the body from side to side has a calming effect. According to Buquet, this method is similar to rocking children to sleep, which also helps adults relax.
3. Vocal humming: vocalizing in a low tone, such as humming along to your favorite song, can promote deep relaxation. A few minutes of this practice is enough to feel positive changes.
Buquet emphasized that these simple actions not only help to restore inner harmony, but also gradually reprogram the brain, forming new positive associations. The more often we practice these techniques, the more they become part of our daily lives, helping to reduce the impact of negative emotions associated with stress and trauma.
