Christmas trees treated in the capital to protect them from vandals - KCSA

A campaign has been launched in Kyiv to protect coniferous trees from vandalism by spraying them with a safe, odorless chemical to prevent illegal felling for holiday decorations. The trees will also be monitored by patrols and marked with special signs.

Christmas trees will also be protected by patrol police officers and employees of the State Environmental Inspectorate. According to the KIAA, they planned to conduct joint raids and patrols in green areas.
