Czech Republic joins coalition of drones for Ukraine - Latvian Defense Ministry

The Czech Republic has joined the drone coalition for Ukraine, led by Latvia and the United Kingdom. Latvia has allocated 20 million euros to the coalition and is offering opportunities for testing and upgrading drones.

The Czech Republic has become the 16th country in the coalition of drones for Ukraine, led by Latvia and the United Kingdom. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Latvia.

According to the country's Defense Ministry, the Czech Republic has joined the coalition of drones for Ukraine, led by Latvia and the United Kingdom, after its delegation signed a memorandum of understanding during the 75th anniversary NATO summit in Washington.

I am very pleased to welcome the Czech Republic to the Drone Coalition, which is helping Ukraine fight back against Russian invasion. Each member state of the Coalition can make a significant contribution to Ukraine's efforts, as well as support the development of its national industry

- said Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds.

It is noted that the Czech Republic became the 16th country in the coalition.

The Defense Ministry also added that this year Latvia has allocated 20 million euros for the drone coalition. Manufacturers and military experts can also test their drones in Latvia and thus continuously work on modernizing drone technology.

Sweden, together with other countries, will support the Ukrainian Armed Forces through joint purchases of drones.
