"Thanks to the Recovery Program for Ukraine from the European Investment Bank and the Government of Ukraine, the Artsyzka community received UAH 69 million for the project. The difference in the amount of 13 million will be paid from the local budgets of Odesa region and the Artsyz community. The project for the reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant started on 10.10.2024," Kiper writes.
Yes, the new sewage treatment facilities will allow it:
- stop water pollution and avoid environmental disaster;
- reduce the impact on the climate through energy-saving technologies;
- to provide a reliable water treatment system for future generations.
Earlier, Kiper reported on the neutralization of a dump of pesticides (147 tons) stored in Odesa region since the last century, when a ship carrying them sank in 1979.
