Will it be possible to get a divorce online through Diia? The Ministry of Digital Transformation answered

The divorce function in Diia requires legislative changes, so it is currently only at the analysis stage. The Ministry of Digital Transformation confirms the demand for the service, but technical development has not yet begun.
In order to implement the divorce function in the Diia app, legislative changes are needed, so this service is more in the analysis. As of now, this service is not yet technically being worked on. Valeria Tkach, Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of Electronic Services at the Ministry of Digital Transformation, told UNN.
When asked whether Diia is developing an online divorce feature, Tkach replied: "We see that there was a demand for this service among users, and we are constantly paying attention to it. But in order to implement this, legislative changes and technical implementation are needed, so this service is more in the analysis. It may take time for it to appear in Diia. But as of now, we are not technically working on this service yet.

Earlier, Tkach reported that the Ministry of Digital Transformation admits that Diia may have a divorce function.
Currently, Ukrainians can get a divorce through a registry office or a court, but you can file for a divorce online.
On November 1, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reportedthat 700 couples had gotten married through the Diia app, and 7,000 had applied.
