France plans to increase supplies of ammunition to Ukraine

According to General Jean-Francois Doc, France is committed to increasing its military support to Ukraine next year by providing additional ammunition.

France will continue its military support to Ukraine, so Kiev will receive even more ammunition next year. This was stated by engineer-general for armament Jean-Francois Doc, reports the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports UNN.

A meeting of the Ukrainian and French delegations was held in Kiev.On the Ukrainian side, the event was attended by Deputy Defense Ministers of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov and Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk. The parties discussed urgent military needs and types of weapons that France can use to help the Ukrainian army. 

France is making every possible effort to help Ukraine. Our Support Fund is trying to cover part of the cost of purchasing some spare parts and weapons for the Ukrainian side. We understand Ukrainian needs, so next year France will increase the supply of ammunition, " said Jean-Francois Doc, engineer-general for armaments, chairman of the Fund for support of Ukraine

The Ukrainian official also announced new purchases of Caesar self-propelled artillery units.

This week we have already received funds and will make a payment for the additional purchase of self-propelled guns "Caesar". I thank the French side for the continuous supply of ammunition to these systems. Of course, if possible, I would like to increase the number of guns

The parties also considered the possibility of strengthening cooperation in the defense sector and establishing logistics support between the two countries.

Recall

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg cannot say for sure when Ukraine will receive F-16 fighters, but hopes that this will happen as soon as possible, noting that pilot training continues.
