President Zelenskyy reported that he had received more than positive signals of support from both parties of the US Congress and expressed confidence in continued US assistance to Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the meetings he received positive signals from representatives of both parties of the US Congress. Zelenskyy said this  during a joint press conference with Biden, a UNN correspondent reports .  

Did I hear what I wanted to hear? I heard a lot of things. I said exactly what I wanted to say. I felt support from the Biden Administration, and I also felt support from the senators. We talked and talked about this with the speaker. There were signals. They were more than positive, but we know that there are words and there are results.

Zelensky expressed confidence that US assistance would continue and Ukraine would not be left face to face with an enemy like Russia.

President Zelenskyy, during a speech in the US Senate , emphasized the need for further US support, including long-range weapons and enhanced air defense, to maintain pressure on Russia. 

US President Joe Biden has said that the immigration system in the US needs to be changed and his team is working with Democrats and Republicans in Congress to reach an acceptable compromise.
