A 61-year-old man died and 8 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling of Kherson region. The enemy attacked 21 settlements, damaging residential buildings and infrastructure.
A 61-year-old man was killed and his 58-year-old wife was injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kherson. There are 7 more wounded in the region, residential buildings and infrastructure have been damaged due to Russian attacks over the past day, the head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, said on Telegram on Thursday, UNN reports .

“Last night, Russians attacked the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The body of a dead man was unblocked from the rubble of a house destroyed by the “arrival”. My condolences to the family and friends. A 58-year-old woman also sustained explosive trauma, injuries to her arms and head. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition,” Prokudin wrote.
According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a 61-year-old man was killed and his 58-year-old wife was injured.
According to Prokudin, Kherson and 20 other localities in Kherson region came under enemy fire and air strikes over the past day. Russian troops hit educational institutions and an administrative building; 8 multi-storey buildings and 19 private houses were damaged in residential areas of the region's settlements. The occupiers also damaged gas pipelines, outbuildings, a garage and private cars.
“One person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of Russian aggression,” Prokudin said.
During a nighttime drone attack, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 1 Shahed-131/136 over the territory of the region, he said.
