Details

Over the course of three days, 45 participants from 22 educational institutions of Ukraine had the opportunity to visit various production sites of MHP, including the Poultry Complex, Hatchery, Processing and Biogas Complexes, and feed production. The students learned about the modern technologies used in the production of poultry products, had the opportunity to communicate with the company's representatives and outline career opportunities. After a series of excursions, the participants formed teams and competed in solving practical cases developed by MHP experts. The intensive work resulted in ready-made proposals for improving the company's production processes.

The most successful teams were awarded prizes and got a chance to do an internship at MHP, which opens up prospects for career development in one of the largest companies in their field. In addition to working on the tasks, the students took part in a Halloween-themed event organized by the Youth Engagement team, which gave them an opportunity to relax and further strengthen their team spirit.

We value talented young people and strive to provide them with opportunities for professional development. The hackathon gave students a unique experience of applying theoretical knowledge in practice, as well as the opportunity to get acquainted with the realities of working in a large international company. This approach helps us to identify and support promising personnel on whom the development of the industry and our country's economy will depend in the future

- comments Ksenia Motorina, Head of Youth Engagement and Development at MHP.

The event received positive feedback from participants, who noted that the MHP MECH TECH Hackathon was an important step in their preparation for real professional challenges, expanded their knowledge and inspired them to further develop their profession.

In addition to the MECH TECH Hackathon, this year MHP held similar events for students of agricultural specialties and those studying veterinary professions. MHP continues to invest in young people by creating platforms for practical training and familiarization with big business.
