Details
We are talking about the commander of the division of the 205th separate motorized rifle brigade of the russian armed forces, dzhabrail yusupov, call sign "gabriel". It was this unit of the occupation forces that took part in the capture of the village of Novopetrivka in Mykolaiv region and was stationed there. According to the investigation, the suspect is a citizen of the republic of dagestan.
According to the case file, in July 2022, under his command, 20 armed racists broke into the premises of the Novopetrivsk special school that was seized at the time and abducted 15 students who were there at the time: eleven boys and four girls aged 8 to 17.
Among them are 12 status children, 2 were in the institution due to difficult life circumstances, and a girl who had already been adopted by US citizens but was not picked up in time due to the start of the full-scale invasion
To prevent the children and their educators from leaving for the government-controlled territory, the suspect and two other soldiers were guarding the special school with weapons. Later, the children, along with the director of the institution and her husband, were first transported to the temporarily occupied Crimea. The investigation found that two representatives of the local occupation authorities, with the support of russian troops, organized their transportation to Kherson, and then from the Kherson river station by boat to Oleshky and further to Crimea.
From the Crimea, they were sent "under escort" of the occupiers to anapa, in the krasnodar region of the russian federation. There, the deportees were held for almost a month in a local boarding house.
Since October 2022, the deported children have been on the territory of the aggressor country. Every day, they were exposed to russian propaganda - russian nationalism was imposed on them. The children were forbidden to speak their native language, use Ukrainian symbols, and were forced to sing the russian national anthem every morning
In November 2022, with the help of a charitable organization, the deportees were taken from russia to Georgia to return home.
Based on the evidence collected, the SBU investigators served yusupov a notice of suspicion in absentia under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy).
