The Ministry of Defense has established the first medical facility for the reintegration of military personnel released from captivity. The center has 100 beds with the possibility of expansion and provides comprehensive medical, psychological and documentary assistance.

In Ukraine, the first health care facility in the Ministry of Defense system has received the status of a reintegration center for servicemen released from captivity. This was stated by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, UNN reports.

The first healthcare facility in the Ministry of Defense system has been granted the status of a reintegration center for servicemen released from captivity. The medical facility operates in the central region and is already providing medical, rehabilitation and psychological assistance to our heroes after they return from captivity,

He noted that the institution received this status by order of the Ministry of Defense.

The reintegration center is a specialized complex that provides all services in one place: medical, rehabilitation and psychological assistance, as well as reintegration activities and assistance in obtaining certificates and restoring documents. Currently, it has 100 beds with the possibility of expanding to 200 or more by adding rehabilitation beds,

- Umerov said.

According to him, the Ministry of Defense has also already received the first suggestions and wishes from the military and medical personnel. All of them will be taken into account by the Defense Ministry's Healthcare Department.
