In the first ten months of 2023, the Ukrainian authorities seized 439 counterfeit banknotes in US dollars and 13 euros, and most often counterfeit banknotes in denominations of 100 dollars, 50 euros and 200 euros

* US dollars (97% of all counterfeit foreign currency banknotes seized);
* Euro (3%).
Most often, malefactors forged foreign banknotes of such denominations:
* 1 100 (90% of the total amount of counterfeit US dollars seized);
* 50 and 200 euros (46% and 38% of the total amount of counterfeit euros seized, respectively).
