Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the war should be resolved within the framework of Ukraine's territorial integrity. According to him, the fatigue of the parties could lead to a new situation in 2025.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has named a condition for resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to him, a just solution to the war must be found within the framework of Ukraine's territorial integrity. The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said this in an interview with the Hurriyet newspaper, UNN reports.
Fidan clarified that both countries do not want to remain losers, and the Turkish side continues to look for common ground between the Ukrainian and Russian authorities.
"We have a special relationship with both sides. We do not refuse to listen to them. A friend only tells the truth, and that's what we do," Fidan added, adding that ‘the fatigue of both sides could lead to a new situation in 2025’ - probably meaning that next year the warring parties could reach a compromise with Turkish mediation.

According to DW, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov criticized Turkey for supplying weapons to Ukraine.
According to Lavrov, such actions by Turkey contradict its willingness to mediate in the settlement of what he called a "military conflict" in Ukraine. At the same time, the Russian foreign minister doubted that Turkey's mediation efforts to achieve peace in Ukraine "will be crowned with success," referring to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's decree banning negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
