Two highways in Odesa region blocked due to bad weather

Truck traffic on the M-15 and M-28 highways in Odesa region is blocked due to bad weather. The 12-hour restriction was imposed to remove snow and prevent accidents.
Due to the bad weather in Odesa and the region, traffic for heavy vehicles has been temporarily restricted on two highways in the region. This is reported by the Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Odesa Oblast, UNN reports.

It is noted that the temporary blocking of traffic for heavy vehicles concerns the public roads of national importance M-15 Odesa-Reni (to Bucharest) and M-28 Odesa - Yuzhne - /M-14/ (bypassing Odesa).

Traffic is temporarily blocked for heavy vehicles due to deteriorating weather conditions (heavy snow, squally winds and ice), in order to ensure the efficient operation of snow removal equipment and prevent traffic accidents and congestion

The restrictions came into effect at 08:30. The estimated time of the traffic ban is 12 hours. The agency also urged drivers to be careful on the roads and, if possible, not to leave without an urgent need.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions with blizzards and possible snow drifts across Ukraine, the State Emergency Service advises citizens to stay at home and refrain from traveling on November 26-27.
