More than 500,000 chemical hot water bottles were donated to the military by the WOG filling stations in cooperation with the +380 Charitable Foundation.
More than 500,000 chemical hot water bottles were delivered to the military by WOG filling stations in cooperation with the +380 Charitable Foundation.
As part of the project, the military received two types of chemical heating pads: hand warmers that can be placed in gloves or pockets, and shoe insoles. Their operating temperature is 45-60 °C, which will keep the defenders warm for 4-8 hours.
“We understand that hypothermia and frostbite are extremely insidious enemies in winter. This initiative is only partly about charity, but more about the gratitude and responsibility of business to our defenders. We are very pleased that we have managed to convey “warmth” even before the onset of winter frosts”, - emphasized Gennadiy Karlinsky, Marketing Director of WOG filling stations.
“Chemical heating pads allow the defenders to keep warm in the cold, which helps to maintain their health. Such support for our combat units is extremely important. We are grateful to WOG and the +380 Foundation for it.,” said Volodymyr Paliy, Head of Logistics - Deputy Commander of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Since the introduction of martial law, business support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine has become one of the factors of the country's existence. Conscious business, while continuing to pay taxes, has been actively involved in charitable activities aimed at supporting the Defense Forces for more than 10 years.
We, the +380 Charitable Foundation, are grateful to the WOG filling station network for another joint cooperation aimed at improving the conditions of stay at the front during the most severe frosts for the soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, and we hope that there will be large and systematic projects aimed at a common Victoryin the future,” emphasized Oleksandr Pashynin, founder of the +380 Charitable Foundation.

Self-heating thermochemical hot water bottles contain iron powder, activated carbon and heat-retaining substances. They are stored in a tightly sealed bag, which should be opened immediately before use, so that the mixture is exposed to air and the warming pads will keep the defenders warm for 4-8 hours.
