The remains of booby-traps installed to protect the bridge from Ukrainian drones were found near the Kerch embankment. Hollow tanks and reinforcement structures were found among the wreckage.

A group of boom barriers, which were installed near the Kerch bridge to protect against attacks by maritime drones, were thrown into the waters of Kerch.
Remnants of the boom barriers have accumulated on the city embankment. Among them are hollow tanks enclosed in reinforcement structures.

In the summer of 2024, barges were placed on the southern side of the Kerch Bridge. This was followed by floating buoys running parallel to the bridge. New satellite images show a significant increase in the number of barges protecting the bridge.
