According to operational data, on October 23, 2024, during an offensive on the town of Selydove, the Russian military captured three Ukrainian soldiers. After some time, the occupiers shot unarmed prisoners of war.
On November 1, during the storming of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fortifications in the same Pokrovsk direction, three more prisoners of war were killed by Russian representatives using automatic weapons.
The Prosecutor General's Office emphasized that these actions are a violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualify as an international crime.
The investigation is being conducted by SBU investigators in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
