More than 15,000 police officers out of 70-75,000 male police officers are performing combat missions in Ukraine. National Police units, such as “Rage” and “Predator,” operate in difficult areas.

More than 15 thousand police officers are performing combat missions in Ukraine. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Oleksandr Fatsevych during a telethon, a correspondent of UNN reports.

Since the first day of the full-scale invasion, police officers have been directly involved in repelling armed aggression together with the Defense Forces. Today, we have created new full-time units that are directly involved - more than 15,000 police officers performing various tasks. They are directly involved in covering the state border in the north. We have created a special unit to support the State Border Guard Service and the Defense Forces, and the Armed Forces

- Fatsevych said.

According to him, additional rifle battalions have also been created in each main police department in the regions.

Right now, we are performing tasks in some of the most difficult areas - the "Luty" brigade together with the "Khyzhyk" consolidated brigade, with the newly created rifle unit, a unit of our KORD. They are performing tasks in the Toretsk sector

- Fatsevich said.

He also said that there are about 70-75 thousand male police officers in the National Police who may be subject to mobilization, of whom more than 15 thousand are already performing combat missions.

All police officers who wear uniforms are booked. But they also perform combat missions

- Fatsevych said.

In addition, Fatsevych noted that the National Police is not currently recruiting men of mobilization age, except for the "Rage" brigade.

We mostly replace and restore units through internal transfer of police officers

- Fatsevich said.
